Mayor’s expenses for 2015 published
As part of his commitment to openness and transparency, Mayor Sendzik is releasing his expenses for the second half of 2015.
As head of City Council, the Mayor is allocated an annual operating budget through the City’s operating budget which is approved by City Council each year. The expense list includes details for office supplies and technology, community events, meeting expenses, travel and conferences between July and December, 2015.
In November 2015, Mayor Sendzik travelled to Chicago to attend FabTech, the largest advanced manufacturing conference and tradeshow in North America with members of the Niagara Industrial Association, and staff from Niagara Economic Development and the City of St. Catharines Economic Development department. While in Chicago, Mayor Sendzik also had an opportunity to meet with the Consul General of Canada, members of the City of Chicago’s economic development team and a number of manufacturing companies to discuss Niagara’s position as a manufacturing hub and opportunities to build links between the US mid-west and Niagara’s diverse manufacturing sector.
