We are now into Fall – even though it may feel like summer outside and harvest has begin here in St. Catharines. To recap the this past weekend – a very successful Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, the new and improved West Park has re-opened with many great accessible features thank you to Hygrade and Bromac for the outstanding work, Kiwanis Aquatics Centre officially opens back up tomorrow and there is a FREE community celebration on Saturday, September 30th.
Congratulations to the St. Catharines Economic Development Team on receiving two awards from the Economic Development Association of Canada, Brand Blvd on celebrating 10 years in our community, Niagara Symphony Orchestra on celebrating their 70th anniversary, Carol Purcer – being announced as the Rowing Canada President.
Lots of great upcoming events happening in our community – today we celebrated Franco-Ontarien Day with over 300 students, Niagara IceDogs kick off their 11th season this Friday, Nurturing Our Roots Pow Wow is on Oct 1st at Montebello Park and the Welland Canal Play by Essential Collective Theatre is on Oct 12-22 at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.
